Open House*

A grainy red wall with white text indicating “level 4” and directional signs for elevators and rooms 1 through 6. The left arrow points to elevators, room 4, room 5, and room 6, while the right arrow points to elevators, room 1, room 2, and room 3. In the bottom right corner, a small cartoon-style doodle of a whimsical character with floppy ears, a curled tail, and a musical note above its head appears to be dancing.

Album cover for Memory lane (Hannah's song) by mem4. Similar vibe to Quantum jumper's cover art, instead with bright green and a pale orange colored pixels. The same red tape remains at the top right of the cover.

OH005 / Memory lane (Hannah's song) by mem4

The latest single from mem4, via Open House*. Another energetic, bright, pixelated, sparkling dance track from the newest addition to the OH* roster. On the b-side you have two remixes of triple J Unearthed's underground gem, 'Quantum jumper'. Featuring Garden Busker's 'twinkstyle' mix and a remix from Lilith Anthropocene.

Album cover for Quantum jumper by mem4. The cover looks to be a field of downscaled image artifacts, crisped up into a duotone black-and-purple nondescript image, with one sharp red square at the top right of the image, akin to a piece of tape.

OH004 / Quantum jumper by mem4

Kinetic and kaleidoscopic, yet quite minimal IDM-pop from Australia's enigmatic mem4, via Open House*. "Quantum jumper" is their debut 'chune, with an apt title for a song that feels as if you're accelerating at top-speed towards a bright, slightly-surreal future.

FFO: MN, Fourtet, Aphex Twin, Imogen Heap, Hudmo

Album cover for Next Song Starts by Opal Jones. Yellow and cyan tapestry patterns against a dark blue background.

OH003 / Next Song Starts by Opal Jones

The latest number from Opal Jones, and the project's first full-length in almost four years, Next Song Starts revels in maturation and contemplation. Opal's knack for catchy melodies meets an unconventional arrangement of seven songs. Swapping out beat-driven light electronica for sparser drumming, squelching, bubbling synthesisers, and stretched guitars, NSS is a turning point.

Album cover for Flowergrade by Garden Busker - blurry, colourful snapshot of a tennis shoe moving against the forest floor, with cut-up drawings of letters in various fonts, arranged to spell the title Flowergrade in a circle.

OH001 / Flowergrade by Garden Busker

Kicking off the Open House era, a fidgety 'aerobeat' track from label co-founder Wyatt pushes energetic, complex drum programming through an airy layer of Frou Frou and Fourtet samples. Backed by a laptop garage beat that winds up and down along lush e-piano hits, with a catchy chirp of a lead melody.
