Another prompt box? No.A whole game studio

Your ideas, a crew of creative bots, and every tool a game needs. Brainstorm with them, hand them jobs, or let them run on their own: together you design the whole game, every rule, picture, track and sound. Then have it built for you, or build it yourself.

01 Start

A blank prompt is a hard place to start.

So the Chief agent brings ideas instead. Name a game you love and he builds on what makes it great, roll the dice on a surprise, or make every call together. Each answer sharpens what the crew makes next, so by the time anything is built, nothing is guesswork.

  • 80,246 games on file to build on

02 Genres

Make any kind of game.

Cozy or competitive, 2D or 3D, blocky voxel worlds or glowing vector arcade classics. From match-3 to first-person shooters, name the kind of game you love and the crew knows what makes it work.

03 Crew

Choose your game design crew.

22 specialist agents so far, with more on the way. Each one is a master of a single craft, from sprites to sound effects, and the Chief keeps them all working on the same game. Talk to any one of them, or brief the whole crew at once.

“I run the crew. Give me a task and I'll hand the parts to the right bots.”

Runs the studio like a good producer: sees the whole game, knows who does what, keeps the designer out of the weeds.

The whole crew
Voice
  • They remember. Tell a bot a name, a rule or a decision once, and it keeps it. Every conversation and note stays with your game, so you can come back weeks later and carry on where you left off. Each game has a memory of its own.
  • Every bot is a skill. Each one brings a whole craft: art direction, sprites, music, title screens, game feel. Put together the crew your game needs, and they build on each other’s work instead of starting from scratch.
  • Let them loose. Hand the crew the job and walk away: they keep working on their own, and you check in when they’re done. Or pull up a chair and watch every move.
  • Make them yours. Rename them, recolor them, make one a cat. Turn up how creative, emotional or opinionated each one is, and they answer you differently.

04 Tools

Every tool, and the bot who runs it.

22 tools on one desk, from the first mood board to the last sound effect, and each one has a bot who knows it inside out. Ask the bot, or use the tool yourself: whatever either of you makes goes straight into the design.

05 Game Design Document

It all goes into one document.

Agents build far better games when they don’t have to guess. So everything you decide and everything the crew makes lands in a game design document a builder can follow: the rules, the feel, the controls, and every picture, sprite, track and sound, ready to load.

Build it here

Press Build. Play your game.

Our build agents turn the document into a real game: written, playtested, fixed and published, in a private sandbox of its own, and you can watch every minute of it.

Cocktail Cat Caper, built from this document

The full version of this document became Cocktail Cat Caper, a fully playtested game, with nobody touching the code.

06 Build

In our cloud, or on your machine.

Press Build and we start a private sandbox in the cloud for your game alone, then launch a fleet of AI agents we built for making games. One orchestrates the team and plans the build, one writes the code, one playtests every level, one runs QA, and fixers mend whatever they find. They keep going until the game passes its tests, then publish it. Watch it live, or share the link and let anyone watch.

  2. 2A plan, then the codeThe lead reads the design document and turns it into a development plan: which packs do what, and what to build first. A faster, cheaper builder model does the heavy lifting from it.
  3. 3Playtested all the wayA copy of the game runs in the sandbox the whole time. The lead sends playtesters to reach set points in it, by playing or with its built-in cheats, and sends fixers after every bug they find.
  4. 4Tested, then publishedOnce every test passes, it takes the title and in-game screenshots, publishes the new version straight to your game’s page, and keeps the source safe.
Phaser AE

Or build it with your own agent

Already pay for Claude, Codex, Cursor or another coding agent? Build the game on your own machine, on the plan you already have. The Phaser AE CLI brings the whole design down, your agent builds and playtests it, and the crew is still a message away. Pick your agent to set it up.

How to build with your agent

07 Engine

Phaser AE

A new Phaser, built for agents.

Phaser AE is a brand-new version of Phaser, made for AI agents to build games quickly and well: a small kernel at its heart, and hundreds of expansion packs that add whatever a game needs, from physics and voxel worlds to card games and stealth. It’s free: sign up and install the CLI, and your first one game design is on us.

08 Playtest

Your own playtesting studio.

Building the game is only the first step

No more describing a bug in a prompt box and hoping. Pause the game at any point and the moment is captured: a picture of the screen, what is on it, the level you are on and the state of play. Mark it up, say what should change, and it becomes a change request with all of that data attached. Collect as many as you like, then send them in one go.

Changes 0
Cocktail Cat Caper, Stage 1

Your changes

  1. Pause the game at any point.
  2. Draw on it: circle it, cross it out, scribble.
  3. Say what should change, and what kind of change it is.
  4. Save and resume, and play on. Pause again whenever you like.
  5. Jump to any stage with the game’s own cheats.
  6. Send them all to the crew, in one go.
  • Every pause is a change request. The picture, your marks, your words, and the game’s own data at that moment: the level, the score, what was on screen. Nobody has to guess what you meant.
  • Cheats come built in. The build adds them for you: jump to any level or screen, never run out of lives. Get to the part you want to test in seconds, without playing all the way there.
  • One bundle, the right hands. The Chief gives the art to the artists and the music to Score, and the rest goes to the build agents as one list. The next version builds in the same sandbox.

09 Ship it

It’s your game. Take it anywhere.

We host every game for you: the moment it’s built there’s a link to play it on any phone or desktop, ready to share. Then take it as far as you like. The source is all yours, you can embed it on your own site, export it for itch.io, or get everything the games portals ask for. Nothing is locked to Phaser.

11 Pricing

Only pay for what you use.

Everything runs on credits, and you only spend them when something is made: one sprite, one song, a whole design, a whole game. Every tool shows what a thing costs before you make it.

  • Buy credits as you need them. Top up whenever you like. There’s no subscription to take out, and nothing to cancel.
  • You set the budget for your bots. Decide how much they can spend on any one game design, and they’ll never spend more than that.
