The whole set of link metrics, side by side

A typical launch site gives you one Ahrefs number. Every listing on The Launch Directory gets six: Ahrefs Domain Rating, Majestic Trust Flow and Citation Flow, and Moz Domain Authority, Page Authority and Spam Score.

The refresh rates
Link scoreIf paidIf free
Domain Rating Ahrefsdailydaily
Trust Flow Majesticevery 30 daysevery 90 days
Citation Flow Majesticevery 30 daysevery 90 days
Domain Authority Mozevery 30 daysevery 90 days
Page Authority Mozevery 30 daysevery 90 days
Spam Score Mozevery 30 daysevery 90 days
Which scores does The Launch Directory track about a listing's links?

Six link scores: Domain Rating (Ahrefs), Trust Flow and Citation Flow (Majestic), Domain Authority, Page Authority and Spam Score (Moz).

How often is each score re-checked?

Domain Rating: daily, on every listing. Majestic: every 30 days if paid, every 90 days if free. Moz: every 30 days if paid, every 90 days if free.

Why track more than one provider?

No single provider sees every link. Three independent crawls, each scored its own way, are harder to fool than one.

Your launch, planned step by step

The Launch Directory's playbook is a free, step-by-step launch guide: what to get ready before launch day, what to do on the day and during the week after, and which launch directories are worth a look.

  1. Groundwork Complete your profile and listing, and write the posts and emails you plan to send.
  2. On launch day Share your listing widely, pin the post and reply to the people who ask questions.
  3. Launch week Keep sharing with a new angle each time, post an update and add the badge to your site.
  4. Afterwards Submit to other launch directories and come back with a relaunch for major updates.

On the record after launch: receipts and AI checks

Launch receipts, so far

The Launch Directory keeps a receipt for each launch: Domain Rating, referring domains and visits, measured from the day it went live. The launches that climbed most:

  1. Beast Launches DR 7 to 74 +67
  2. The Support Queen DR 0 to 65 +65
  3. SaaS Directory List DR 6 to 62 +56

Measured figures only. A rise has many possible reasons, and we do not claim it as ours.

Are you in the AI answers?

One free check comes with your listing on The Launch Directory, free or paid: see whether ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity name your product when a buyer in your category asks, and whether they cite your site.
