Another Code Project

plans, develops and maintains websites and digital tools

① ANOTHER CODE PROJECT is the practice of Fabian Wohlfart-Blank teaming up with editors, designers and other creatives to make anything that can be viewed inside a browser.

② CONSULTATION Core Web Vitals? Accessibility? Best Practices? Search Engines? AI? – Even the best alchemists need someone to check the recipe before the kingdom drinks the elixir.

③ VISUAL TRANSLATION The process of creating visual outputs throughout different stages of a project. It expands development to include not only coding, but also practices of visual communication and graphic design.

④ BESPOKE Working purposefully, creating a curated set of tools.

⑤ CONTENT Shifting the perspective from usage follows technology to technology follows usage – we've build our own version of a content management system … ⑥ STORY … which enables us to shape a story from the very start to the bitter end.

⑦ MAINTENANCE Accompanying the things we develop, over years. Iterating over new technologies to adopt what is needed for the future.

Visually updating the main website – which, after 15 years of gathering over 5000 fragments & subpages, was slightly overwhelming – making it responsive, untangling redundancies and improving performance.

Heinz GRASSOW GMBH & CO KG

An established, mid-sized, local company specializing in heating and plant construction.

The concept intentionally steers the visual identity away from the traditionally masculine world of craftsmanship. In close collaboration with photographer Doro Zinn, the everyday work of the craftsperson is documented in a way that feels neutral, authentic, and approachable. The result is a reportage – unfolding across the individual pages of the website – offering insights into daily routines, human interactions, and the values that shape the practice.
