About Me

I received my Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University, and my Master's and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State. I work as a STEAM Specialist for Pioneer Library System at the Norman Public Library Central in Norman, Oklahoma, USA. I am also the Director of Operations for the eGullet Society for Culinary Arts & Letters, a Maintainer of the open-source CAD package FreeCAD, and a ballroom dancer.

STEAM Specialist
I teach and develop science and technology classes for a public library in Norman, OK. This includes coding classes, movie-making programs, and classes on using the Maker Lab equipment.

Culinary Society
The eGullet Society for Culinary Arts & Letters operates the eGullet Forums, a food-focused culinary discussion site. I maintain the server and coordinate the Society's volunteer team.

FreeCAD
FreeCAD is a free, open-source 3D parametric computer-aided design package written in C++ and Python. I code, review others' code, and write about it.
