The instructor is very good at laying out the basic understanding of coding by relating it to everyday tasks, like giving instructions to friends. He gives a good understanding of the mindset that a coder should be in when writing code.

Instructors product interfaces are not in sync with current product versions. Outdated. Example; there is no Motion functionality with my download of scratch (it even tells me) and the menu screens are very different, in fact, opposite of instructors menu.

This was a good match for me. I thought the difficulty was a bit inconsistent, with the front end of the course seeming extra easy and the end parts feeling like we were using lots of brand new concepts to solve coding problems. Also I think the instructor could have had a slightly more enthusiastic/engaging tone at times. Overall I enjoyed the course and feel ready to move on to harder things!
