I would have prefered to code something closer to a real world app than some basic game I’m never going to play. But this is a great course anyway.

I have used some other course on udemy, but the most difficult thing to understand in all of the courses was understanding DOM and how to manipulate it, but this course just blew my mind. The way this course teaches DOM manipulation is amazing, especially with the challenges in each video.

I was able to apply what I learned while working on Todo Filter sample over to my project. That alone was worth what I paid for. Since I took this course I also took bootstrap, React courses (from other instructors), and I was able to digest the material much more easily because this course got me the fundamental that I needed and can apply to other advanced topics. I recommend it.

I quit this course like 40% in. Explanations were many times to lengthy and therefore very confusing to me. The course is not based on logic and practicality, but based on syntax. Which made the material kind of dry and hard for me to continue this one. It required a lot of backtracking when executing the challenges, since immediate usefullness wasnt clear to me therefore didnt stick. Ofc this is my opinion

This is a really good course for complete beginner. It covers each and every topic in JS. The pace of the course and the Real World Apps that we build along gives a really good perspective of how JS works and how it should be used. Although the Advance Part is a bit hard to understand. This course surely deserves five stars. Andrew teaches in a way that everyone can get the best of the course. Subjects are introduced gradually and, as they are used on the apps built along the course, they become clearer and clearer.
