My Project Story Inspiration
This project was inspired by my children and my husband. Their curiosity, creativity, and support motivated me to create something cozy, cute, and fun. Whenever I felt stuck, thinking about them pushed me to keep improving and exploring new ideas.
Tools I Used
To build this project, I relied on several tools:
Canva for visuals and layout
ChatGPT, Gemini, and Meta’s built-in AI to help brainstorm, organize thoughts, and problem-solve
These tools helped me turn loose ideas into a structured and polished experience.
How I Built the Project
I began with sketches and rough notes, shaping the visuals in Canva while refining concepts with AI assistance. One core part of the project is my unique controller logic, which currently handles movement for a cube in-game. I plan to extend this system to support more complex interactions, smoother transitions, and modular behaviors that can be reused across future gameplay features.
I also want to implement better asset pooling to improve performance. Efficient pooling will reduce loading spikes, reuse objects instead of recreating them, and make the overall experience feel smoother and more optimized.
Improved Performance
Controller Upgrades + Asset Pooling + Iteration Improved Performance=Controller Upgrades+Asset Pooling+Iteration What I Learned
I learned how to mix creative design with technical development and how valuable AI tools can be for speeding up ideas and problem-solving.
Challenges I Faced
My biggest challenges were learning new tools, managing complexity, and optimizing systems. Each challenge helped strengthen the final project and my confidence moving forward.
