Sam Carrillo got the idea while talking to Professor Eric Mikida
What it does
RateMyTA provides a similar rating system as RateMyProfessor with a larger focus on TA's and TA-centric qualities.
How we built it
We used AI to build a front-end, and a mix of AI and spaghetti code.
Challenges we ran into
We did not have enough time to learn the nuances of the front-end and back-end relationship. However, we did gain a new interest in the class CSE 312 which would go into these topics more in-depth.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I think we did learn a decent amount about using LLM's to program. Furthermore, there were a lot of concepts that we did learn regarding front-end and back-end relationships despite our hardships.
What we learned
AI will not take our jobs.
What's next for RateMyTA
We would definitely like to learn more about the aspects that make up our project both at a syntactic and conceptual level. Furthermore, we would like to implement features that we did not get to implement such as scheduling and login.
