Walabot Object Detection

Summary of Walabot Object Detection

This project features a Windows WPF application that interfaces with the Walabot PRO sensor, an Arduino board, and NeoPixels. The application configures and reads data from the Walabot, sending processed distance measurements via serial communication to an Arduino MKR1000. The Arduino then uses this input to control NeoPixels. The project covers Walabot setup, including connecting, calibrating, and data retrieval, as well as configuring filters and profiles for optimal sensing. Data formatting ensures smooth serial transmission, enabling real-time interaction between the Walabot sensor and LED outputs.

Parts used in the Walabot PRO Arduino NeoPixel Project:

  • Walabot PRO sensor
  • Windows PC running WPF application
  • Arduino (Genuino) MKR1000 board
  • NeoPixels (addressable RGB LEDs)
  • Serial communication interface (COM port)

A PC application that talks to the Walabot PRO, Arduino and NeoPixels!
