Command to clear text in Interactive Window text entry box

Feature: Notebook Editor, Interactive Window, Python Editor cells

Description

It would be nice to have a command to clear text in the Interactive Window text entry box. This could then be bound to a keyboard shortcut. Many REPLs clear text like this if the user presses Esc or Ctrl-C. (IPython uses Ctrl-C.)

To be clear, I'm not talking about clearing existing cells - see picture below.

Good suggestion. I think escape would work nicely. It already clears the terminal.

Related to microsoft/vscode-python#5629. Ctrl-u should also work.

ESC and Ctrl-U both clear it. Validated.
