The Java User Group Panama (JUG Panama) is the meeting point for the Java Community in our country to connect, communicate, and collaborate with developer peers.
As part of a global network of volunteer organizations found on almost every continent, we strive to distribute Java-related knowledge, share resources, and build a more inclusive community for everyone interested in the JVM ecosystem.
Our mission is to strengthen the developer landscape in Panama by providing a platform to expand Java Technology expertise and inspire innovation.
We achieve this by hosting talks with industry leaders and local experts, organizing community meetups, hands-on workshops, and panel discussions—fostering collaboration both online and in person.
We use GitHub as our community hub. Here is how you can participate:
- 📢 Discussions (The Hub): The heart of our community. Join the conversation on the Discussions tab to ask questions, share solutions, or rank topics for future meetups.
- 📅 Events & Workshops: Access resources, code samples, and slides from our talks covering Java, Software Engineering, and Technology.
- 🤝 Networking: A space to connect with passionate developers, increase your professional network, and find mentorship opportunities.
We are a volunteer-driven organization, and we want to hear from you. The best way to start is:
- Go to the Discussions Tab.
- Introduce yourself to the community.
- Vote for the next meetup topic!
JUG Panamá is led by passionate volunteers dedicated to building a vibrant developer community.
