WordPress Campus Connect (WPCC) is an official global community program created to inspire and support the next generation of WordPress users and developers. It offers valuable, free, and easy-to-access learning opportunities for students everywhere.
The core value of WPCC is not only meeting students on campus but also creating a formal, ongoing bond between the institution and the WordPress community.
The program first launched in Ajmer, India, on October 2024 as a pilot led by Anand Upadhyay, and it received an amazing response — more than 400 students across India joined in to learn WordPress through practical, hands-on training. The event’s success led to expansion across multiple countries and official recognition as a global WordPress.org program in May 2025.
Today, WordPress Campus Connect continues to grow, hosting events around the world that help students discover what’s possible with WordPress through interactive workshops, classes, and training sessions.
