This hackathon focuses on AI, Blockchain, Sustainability, Web3, and Startup Innovation, with the goal of encouraging impactful solutions.

Whether you're a beginner or a pro, NeoGenesis gives you a platform to learn, build, collaborate, and showcase your creativity. No prior hackathon experience is required — just passion and a willingness to innovate.

Requirements

What to Build (Online Round)

Build a functional prototype based on your chosen track:

  • AI tools
  • Blockchain / Web3 apps
  • Startup-focused solutions
  • Smart India / Sustainability projects

Your Online Round project can be:

  • Web app
  • Mobile app
  • AI/ML model
  • Blockchain solution
  • Hardware prototype (video demo allowed)

Innovation and clarity matter more than perfection.

What to Submit (Online Round – Dec 31)

  • Project description
  • GitHub repository link
  • 2–4 screenshots
  • Demo video (2–4 minutes)
  • Devpost project submission

Only Devpost submissions will be considered.

What to Submit (Final Round – Jan 10)

Selected teams must present:

  • Improved version of the project
  • Live demonstration
  • 3–5 minute pitch
  • Answers to judges’ questions

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation & Creativity
    How unique, creative, and innovative the idea is. Judges will check whether the solution stands out, brings a fresh approach, or solves a problem in a new and meaningful way.
  • Presentation & Demo
    How clearly the project is explained. Judges will evaluate the demo video, clarity of explanation, UI/UX, storytelling, and how well the team communicates their idea.
  • Impact & Usefulness
    How effectively the solution solves a real-world problem. Judges will review its practical use-case, potential impact on users, and long-term scalability.
  • Technical Execution
    How well the project is built. Judges will evaluate code quality, functionality, technical complexity, architecture, and real working features of the prototype.
