Personally, I don't think jailbreaking is quite dead yet. I'm on an iPhone 14 Plus (which isn't even an old phone) on iOS 16, and everything works perfectly fine, no apps I use have dropped support yet. The new iOS 17 and iOS 18 features aren't interesting to me, so I have no reason to update.
It's quite saddening to see how jailbreaks have "lost" things over the years. First to go was truly untethered jailbreaks, then rootful.
With iOS 17, all we have left is TrollStore, and after that, plain sideloading, and that's about it.
Whether or not you should hold onto old firmware is about if you actually want a jailbreak.
Anyways, until this phone becomes ancient with no new jailbreaks, jailbreaking isn't dead.

So I saw 34306 post something about allowing pairing unsupported watchOS versions, so I wrote a small app that can be installed via TrollStore or Sileo to do this (the original code posted was in a .xm file, not sure why)NOTE: I am not taking credit for any code I did not write.
Anyways, Zomigle can be downloaded at and the code is open-source for you to build yourself.

(confirmed working on iOS 16.6.1, watch OS 10.3.1)
Edit: This only allows you to pair the watch, many features may not work. If you need better functionality, you should get a jailbreak and buy Legizmo.
Edit 2: I read somewhere that if you restored a backup to a watch on watchOS 10, iOS 16, it would cause it to erase itself on every reboot. I just had someone test this, and their watch is not erasing itself on reboot. (once again this is iOS 16.6.1, watchOS 10.3.1, so other versions may have issues)

Akshually, it wouldn't be glitchless as you have to abuse a glitch (the exploit) in order to jailbreak or semi-jb
