Adding image links to footer

Hi,
I am helping to build the following WP website: http://www.lgbtlovestories.com
I built the theme using Artisteer, but the customer wants me to add her social media icon/links at the bottom of the page, next to the rss icon.

Is this plugin the correct one to accomplish this. Also, any basic direction you can provide will be greatly appreciated!
