Best setting, autoptimize and async javascript

    Hello,
    I wanted to know what are the advantages to using javascript async with autoptimize?
    I can not understand if they do the same thing or not. It seems to me that async javascript offer a more detailed management.
    What is the best way to configure the two plugins?

    if you optimize your JS (without excluding a lot from JS optimization), the advantage is probably minor. if however you (have to) exclude multiple JS files from AO optimzation, JS async could help limit the performance impact of those.
