• When I create a new snippet, I enter the tracking name and the php code … WITHOUT the opening <?php tag. As soon as I save it or update it, it puts the tag there, so I get a parse error on the front end. I’m using WordPress 5.7. Do you know why it’s doing this? I would purchase the pro version, but I can’t even get the free version to work!

    Thank you.

  • Hi,
When you use php snippets and if you missed starting or ending tags of php ,then the plugin will automatically inserts the php opening and closing tags .Thats’s normal behaviour.
if it’s returning parse error then there might be any other issues, please share the code or drop a mail at support desk
