I’ve been using Email Encoder plugin successfully for several years. Recently, I added three emails on the page above. The plugin worked great as usual–when I hovered over each of the email links (below each of the three photos) on the live page, I could see a short javascript code on the status bar at the bottom of my web page window, indicating that javascript was hiding the emails. However, today I needed to change the email address under the third photo, and now the real email address shows when I hover over the link, not javascript code. When I test the page [https://wpemailencoder.com/email-protection-checker/], it says there are no unprotected emails. I tried rebuilding the page (I use the Divi theme) by cloning the page (hoping it wouldn’t copy the javascript over to the new test page), but the third email still shows when I hover the link. I do not want to rebuild the page from scratch. Is there a way to change the email so the plugin generates new javascript to replace the previous javascript? In my several years of using this plugin, I was always able to change an email without this problem cropping up.

VICTORY! I’m the original poster. I realized that although I had edited the text containing the new email address in the desktop layout version, I had forgotten to also change it for tablet and phone layouts. The email address no longer shows on the live page (on desktop computer) when I hover over the status area at bottom left of page.
