    hello – i found that in order to get the snippet edits to work, i had to issue the rocky-linux 8 command:
    systemctl restart php_fpm.services;
    is this normal?

    I don’t think so! Are you using some sort of caching on your site that is preventing the PHP code from rerunning?

    definitely MAYBE….. i took over the project, and i may have seen a caching plugin. if you are suggesting i temporarily disable the plugin, you are making an excellent suggestion.

    however, if you are NOT suggesting this, then i made the excellent suggestion, and no bonus points awarded to you. 😂🤣😂🤣

    It sounds like things are all sorted then? No more systemctl commands necessary to get things working?

    i have not tried it yet. but systemctl restart commands are fun to do.

    as i recall, perl had something similar, something with apache. or maybe it was php-fpm…? cant remember….

    Fair enough! I might close this for now then, as we already have an issue on our GitHub project for improving the interaction with caching plugins (#200), but feel free to reopen if you discover something else we should look into.

    Enjoy your system administrating!
