    Hello,

    I found this topic https://wordpress.org/support/topic/webp-support-45/

    Topic is closed.

WebP image support is still unavailable with the WP User Frontend.

According to Google itself: “WebP is a modern image format that provides superior lossless and lossy compression for images on the web.”

Would you be so kind to add WebP image support with the WP User Frontend?

    Thank you

    Best regards

    Peter

  • Hi Peter,

Thank you for reaching out. Currently, WP User Frontend does not have built-in support for WebP image uploads. However, we appreciate your feedback and understand the importance of modern image formats like WebP for better performance and compression.

We have noted your request and will discuss the possibility of adding WebP support in a future update. In the meantime, you may consider using a plugin that converts uploaded images to WebP format automatically.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
Thanks and have a nice day.
