This function returns a string on success otherwise it returns FALSE. Syntax: md5_file( $file, $raw ) Parameters: This function accepts two parameters as mentioned above and described below. $file: It is a mandatory parameter which specifies the file for SHA1 hash. $raw: It is an optional parameter which specifies boolean values. TRUE - Raw 16 character binary format FALSE - By Default. 32 character long hex number. Return Value: This function returns a string of MD5 hash on success and returns FALSE otherwise.
