🐍 Welcome to our next meetup on Wednesday 22nd October, at Zalando. https://lnkd.in/d4K5_mnn We'll have three talks this month: Naa Ashiorkor Nortey: Python Meets the Senses: Making Sense of Complex Sensor Data Ever wondered how machines can “smell”? In this talk, I will present how Python can help us explore patterns in data from electronic noses, sensors that detect chemicals around us. You will see how we can uncover insights, understand the effect of environmental factors, and make complex sensor readings easier to understand. Jussi Pakkanen: Typed Python the hardest way While Python's dynamic typing is great, it becomes an obstacle as projects get bigger. A common solution for this is to add typing information and enforce it in CI. But what happens if you take this approach and run with it further than anyone probably should? Let's find out! Luca Scotton: TBA And of course the famous HelPy quiz! See you there! 🇫🇮 PS Don't forget about PyCon Finland next week! https://fi.pycon.org

Final sneak peak on what will happen at our next meetup at Wärtsilä 😉
Long before AI agents became part of the hype cycle, Aarni Sillanpää was already experimenting with them. Aarni began his data career as a data analyst and quickly evolved into a versatile data professional, with expertise spanning machine learning, data engineering and data architecture. His deep specialization in Databricks has earned him the distinction of becoming the first Databricks MVP in Finland. In his talk “How to build end-to-end multi-agent solutions on Databricks”, Aarni Sillanpää will walk us through: 🔹 How to design and build agentic solutions step by step 🔹 Architectural possibilities and patterns to consider 🔹 Practical tips for getting started quickly If you’ve been wondering how AI agents can move from theory to production - this session is for you. 📅 September 9 📍 Wärtsilä, Helsinki 🎫 DataTribe Meetup #5: Data Engineering and AI Join us to learn, get inspired and connect with fellow data enthusiasts!

The end of summer holiday season means we're back on track with our monthly meetups! We're kicking off our fall schedule with events at Witted and Wärtsilä. Follow our discord and meetup page for announcements! However, those events cannot be successful without you, the Python community, volunteering to give a talk! If you have a story to tell, a product to present, or simply have the spirit to stand in front of a crowd - please, contact us! We are offering mentoring, advice, topic ideas, and support with presentation material.
