September is my favorite month of the year. You know why? It’s because September is the month I married the man that I love. It’s also the month that my daughter was born. So, what am I doing now?
Well, I am scrapping ( smile ). OK ! Actually I’m planning for my daughter’s birthday party to be held here in our place on September 23. Her actual birthday is Sept. 18 but we want to do it on a Saturday. We choose to do it on the following Saturday since our Anniversary is on Sept. 22.
Anyways, I just bought some invitation cards, decorations, and some balloons. The theme is Dora.
On September 26, is the day that my mother and brother to appear in the Canadian Immigration. They are going to take the Oath of Citizenship. They came to Canada five years ago on May 2001 4 months before our Wedding Day. And now, they are going to be a Canadian Citizen officially on Sept. 26.
Since it’s our daughter’s birthday and our anniversary. I would like to share with you her birthstory and our lovestory, wedding, and etc. By the way in a scrappy style.

It was the most significant day of our lives. The big day had finally arrived. I woke up around 7:00 am. I got up and showered and ate my breakfast. I was somewhat nervous and relaxed all the same time. I visited the hall for the last time to see if everything was Ok. The hall was looking beautiful with the stunning decorations especially after I put the centrepieces. Linda and Becky showed up and helped me. After that, I went to pick up the corsages and boutonnieres and headed to Lilia’s house. My dress was waiting for me there arrayed on one of the beds in the house. And the hairstylist and make-up artist was ready to fix me after doing the bridesmaids. We ate something and drank tea. We listened to music and took pictures. And the videographer was there as well trying to make us talk on video. Before long I was transformed into THE BRIDE. Mom and Dad (Brad’s parents) came to pick us up to go to the church. More pictures were taken. I felt like I was being transported on thin air out of the house. (Linda, Becky, and Lilia are my friends).

THE DONKEY
— Author Unknown
One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do.
Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer’s neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.
Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
NOW… Here’s the Epilog…
The donkey later came back, and bit the farmer who had tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got infected and the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock.
And… here’s the Moral to the story…
When you do something wrong, and try to cover your ass, it always comes back to bite you.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
Free your heart from hatred – Forgive.
Free your mind from worries – Most never happen.
Live simply and appreciate what you have.
Give more.
Expect less.

Hello everyone. I’m back from Hiatus. Today is another anniversary of my baby Matty. I thought of just reposting the poem I wrote for Matty four years ago.
Repost
Early this morning around 3:00 am. I woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep. Later on Abby was awake too. We were roaming around the house trying to put her to sleep. Finally, Abby went to sleep around 6:00 AM and so was I.Anyway, Today is the Anniversary of my first baby that I lost three years ago.
And I would to share with you the poem that I wrote didicated to my little one…
A Poem dedicated to Matty Sherwood
July 22, 2002 EDD- January 20, 2003
When I noticed the change of my body,
I suspected that there was something inside of me,
A tiny little one.
Two months passed by it confirmed,
That you were growing inside of me.
I was excited and so was your Daddy,
Our hearts jumped with happiness and joy.
We were a little apprehensive of how our lives would be,
But we loved you very much from the moment,
We knew you were there growing.
And then one day unexpected night came,
I noticed that something was wrong,
Blood spot came out scared but calm.
I went to sleep but cramps woke me up,
Bleeding was present red in colour.
Your Dad took me to the Midwifery Care,
I lied down on the table scared and hopeful.
The Midwife looked for you but you weren’t there.
I put my hands on my tummy to feel your home,
But it wasn’t there where it was supposed to be.
I couldn’t accept that you were gone,
We listened to your heartbeat with Doppler,
But never heard your heartbeat. I was devastated.
The midwife said there’s no baby I’m sorry,
Is there anything I can do for you?
I sat on a chair silent your Dad beside me,
My heart was beating so fast I couldn’t breath,
I started crying with your Dad he comforted me.
For fourteen weeks I had carried you with me,
Inside you were comfortable and warm.
When you said goodbye I didn’t have a chance,
To say Hello you slipped beyond my grasp.
Though I never held you in my arms,
But I carried you from the beginning to end.
Though I never knew you were a girl or a boy,
We have a name ready for you Mathilda or Matthew,
Your Dad and I decided to call you Matty.
You were a part of me I’ll remember forever,
And my love for you is constant and pure…
