Office of Animal Research Compliance (OARC) and IACUC

Illinois Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) provides oversight and ensures compliance by inspecting animal care research facilities, recommending improvements, reviewing complaints, and more.

OARC supports IACUC related activities - helping write protocols, training records validation, questions about the online IACUC system, and more.

 

Animal Care Program

Occupational Health and Safety Programs (OHS)

OHS helps protect the safety of individuals by organizing mandatory training programs for all working with or exposed to research and teaching animals.
