i really count my blessings. to have this group of friend who still meetup almost every weekend for supper or movie. to hang around and spend time together. visiting mr ma hanchih’s house every chinese new year without fail (his mum gives everyone $10 angpow), celebrating everyone’s birthday.
we started out in secondary school. sec 3 to be exact. got to know zheyang and fishy cause we were in the same class. and then cause of adventure camp, i got to know the rest ma hanchih being one of the first few. and slowly it started expanding. i was really glad me and bao got accepted into the group of them cause they were all in the same class in sec 1 and 2. and i always tell bao this that i feel very lucky to have them in my life cause sec 3 wasn’t exactly a good year for us especially bao.
and then we spend almost every afternoon at hanchih’s house or junhao’s house just playing mahjong, talking cock, eating fulin. those were the best times ! and then we all graduated moved on to poly. soon it’s like i’m the only girl in the group. so much that they always treat me like a boy. but i was really glad we all became closer in poly. cause all the guys were in engineering school, we met up pretty often like after school on wed and fri. always asking each other what’s the plan.
then they started getting license, renting car going out for spins. on and off there were other girls like jean and sufong and grace but soon jean started coming more often and then hongkong trip happened. and soon jean came in. and became jon’s girlfriend. and then suling started to come in and shortly after ivy came in too. then the guys went to army. and every weekend we’ll meet without fail even til now.
i really love you guys even though now a days we’re all so busy with our life but i really cannot imagine life without you all for the past few years. even though you all like to tease me alot. but i know deep in your hearts you guys care about me and i’m really greatful. you guys are the one i will want to see sitting beside the VIP table during my wedding. and you’re also the ones i’ll miss the most if i ever go to melbourne.
