Catching up!

I'm obviously doing a lot of catching up on things that have been going on! Avery can put on these sandals that have only one strap!

ImageAs you can see they are on the wrong feet but I'm just proud that she's putting them on by herself. She's always doing everything early it seems! There are times I want to tell her to slow down and just enjoy being a baby!!

Image
Image
The other day my mom was over with Aunt Chris. When they were leaving Avery grabbed her purse and was running out the door with them saying she had to go to work!!lol So my mom let's her get in her car in the drivers seat and Avery grabs the steering wheel and tells my mom to shut the door!lol
I'm in sooooO much trouble!

Miss Avery & pebbles...

Last Wednesday I was suppose to go to a Dr. app. for my 6 week checkup after having Cash...I didn't make it. I had to take Avery into the Dr. because she decided to shove a rock up her nose!!!

Image
She brought in 2 rocks from outside and I told her take them back out. She kept putting them up to her nostrils and pretending they were boogers saying "Mom! Look at dat!:}

Image
I turn around for a second and look back at her and I only see one rock. I ask her "Avery where's the other rock?" She keeps rubbing her nose so I then ask "Did you stick the rock up your nose?" She responds 'YUP!" with the biggest smile she can muster:}

Image
I go grab the flashlight, tilt her head back and look up both nostrils...there it is in the right nostril! I attempt to get it out myself with tweezers and shove it up a little further:(
.
Bad move mom!

Image
I call my mom and ask if I can't just let it come out on it's own!lol
It's just a silly little rock!

Image
Of course I can't so I cancel my Dr. app. and schedule one for Avery as soon as possible to retrieve this rock.

Image
Here it is next to a dime! Isn't it a beauty?! The Dr. was wonderful and really sweet to Avery. He ended up leaving the room after several attempts to get it out and while he was gone Avery and I ended up getting it out on our own. We were putting saline drops in her nose and it got the rock slick enough that when she blew out her nose it pushed it to her nostril then I popped it out!
It's all in a days work;}
.
I LOVE being a mom!!!

Kylee came to spend a few nights with us a couple of weeks ago. Avery absolutely LOVES Kylee!

Kisses anyone!!

SooooO Content!

This little boy is so sweet! I'm so in love with him:}
He's slept through the night once since we've had him home; and all the other nights he's only woke us up once or twice! I'm feeling pretty lucky! A huge milestone happened yesterday...Cash smiled for the first time! My heart melted! Harley didn't get to see him do it until today. It was awesome. Yesterday Cash slept most of the day. He had to get 5 shots!!
Poor guy.

Having Mr. Cash...

Here we are the night we went into the hospital for the induction! Avery was spending the night at Grandpa and Grandma Roskelleys house...and loving it!
Image Here I am in all my pregnant glory!

Image My dear friend Kristen, aka, George came to see us off before we embarked on our adventure.

Image
Image So...right when we get to the room I get in the hospital "get-up"! Lovely isn't it~

Image This is the next morning getting ready to go in the O.R. for the c-section. Harley was REALLY nervous.

ImageHere's our baby boy!

Image ImageEight pounds even and 20" long.

Image
Image This hospital stay was totally different than it was with Miss Avery. It was AWESOME being able to hold Cash so soon after delivery and have no complications. He was absolutely perfect and it was great to hear his scream right after the delivery.

ImageI LOVED having this little bundle in the hospital room with me all the time. I know the staff is there to help so you can get some sleep before you go home but, I couldn't help myself. I needed him near me ALL the time!

Image Harley and I missed Avery sooooO much while we were away. I couldn't wait to see her everyday and missed her so much when she would go to my parents at night. I had to just cuddle her!

Image Here's our little stud in his hospital bed.

ImageAfter we got him home we had my parents there helping a lot.

Image We had to treat Cash with lights for Jaundice.

Image I hear that most babies hate being under the lights...not Cash! He loved it! I felt like I needed to set some ocean music for him...set up a palm tree...maybe get him a cocktail!!lol

Image Image Avery, of course, was very interested in what was happening with Mr. Cash while he was under the lights! She kept peeking her head in and helping feed him and giving him his binki...SO cute!

Happy Anniversary Baby!

Image
Mr. & Mrs. Meyer...

Image
Soooo.....It's our 4 year anniversary!!! AAAHHHH!
Harley and I have had a very interesting...romantic...volatile...fun 4 years. I put the pic of Mr. and Mrs. Smith because I think that their relationship best describes our relationship. Harley and I are both very passionate, bold people...we just show these traits in different ways. Harley's very intense and you can feel the energy buzzing off of him. I'm vocal but more passive/aggressive. Somehow together we make it work....
.
.
I love that Harley's energetic nature gives me more energy...
I love that He knows me soooO well...
I love that he knows how to balance me out...
I love that He supports my hair-brained projects and laughs at me...
I love that one minute we could be fighting and the next we are talking and making up...
I love that he wanted me to have His children...
I love to watch Him fixing things...it's sexy when your man shows you his smarts...
I love that He makes me and everyone around Him smile and laugh...
I love that He chose me...
I love you, BABY!
Happy Anniversary~
