How has it already been 1/2 a year since you joined our family?! And yet, how has it only been 1/2 a year?!

"Vacation" 2017

This year, we were in charge of the big Rex reunion. We've been planning for months...reserving the campground, planning meals, finding activities, and it was finally time to go. The boys were especially excited to be in charge!

We left OK on July 28th and drove to Albuquerque to be with Judy's family for a few days. We stopped at Coyote Bluff Cafe in Amarillo for lunch, where Dale tried the "Burger from Hell" and ate the whole thing! He loved everything about the cafe.

This summer was a challenge. 4 kids made for days with little breaks, hardly any naps, and feeling like there was always somewhere we should be. There were definitely ups and downs, but here are some of the highlights:

For the 4th of July, we went to the park for their festivities. We rode the train, carousel and played mini golf...

That night we drove to Purcell for the 4th party that our former stake president hosted. There were inflatables, some "fair" rides, food, and fireworks!
