Ugo Zagato, born in Gavello near Rovigo on June 25, 1890, was the founder of Zagato.
He began his coachbuilding career in 1919 after leaving Officine Aeronaut Aluminum Ti Che Pomilio.
His vision was to create sophisticated car designs that combined lightness with elegance.

Zagato is one of Italy’s oldest surviving car body designers.
The company has crafted numerous iconic bodywork designs that are now considered classics.
