New Orleans - short version
Maybe I can add more photos later, but here's the short version. We did make a whole book to remember!
The house we rented was across the street from an abandoned school. Gave us more parking. It was close enough to walk to the French Quarter!
Lots of room inside to hang out and dance! 4 bedrooms + 2 big closets to sleep in + 3 1/2 baths! Plenty of room for Gma & Gpa. R& D. Carl & Em. Us and 6 kids!First morning we dropped off all the books to go to Africa! Then went to a park to play! Then on the way to lunch our brakes went out and we had to find a mechanic, in a new city.
The food was really good! Beignets - from 2 places! Po'boy. Seafood. Muffuletta. Red beans & rice. Gumbo. Huge onion rings. Etouffee. Uncle Rod picked some good places to eat!!We walked down to the French Quarter on Monday & Tuesday. Some parts had people.... but many streets were quite empty!
Ice cream in any city is a tasty treat!!! We didn't ride the trolley since #'s are limited and we didn't want to take a local's seat.
Mom told them about this cool sign to take a picture with at the rest area as you come into the state after crossing a long bridge. We missed it - but saw this sign. :)

Christmas in Georgia
Christmas Eve w/ AJ & Cyndy!!!
They had waited to watch Wonder Woman 2 with us.
The kids wanted our "traditional" Christmas Tree! We spent a fun time opening presents. I can't seem to get the pictures uploaded . . . maybe I can come back to add some later.
They helped make home made Mac N Cheese!
Went for a walk around the neighborhood.
Nice Feast with the Family!
Nice to hang out together!
The next day we had some Italian from a local man who immigrated from Italy. Tasty!
I had to check out the new German based store in town: Lidl

Grandma & Grandpa came over to spend the night so we could be ready to go in the morning! Ak had made a Kahoot and we showed Gma & Gpa how to play with their phones!
