Sadie had her baptism last Saturday. It was such a great day. Rachel was part of the program and gave a talk on the importance of baptism. Sadie celebrated her special day with lots of friends, family and even her teacher from school. It was such a nice service and the spirit was very strong. We are so grateful for Sadie's decision to be baptized. After the baptism we had a little get together at our house with family and friends. Later that day we took the kids downtown to eat at the Garden Restaurant in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was so fun to sit at the table and look at the temple while we ate. What a beautiful setting for such an important day. After our dinner we went and toured the Beehive House. None of our kids have been through it, so it was a fun thing to do together as a family. What a great day of celebrating :)

All ready for church the day after the baptism.
I was even brave enough and bore my testimony in sacrament. It was a pretty big deal, since I RARELY do this. I just had to tell Sadie publicly how proud we were of her and her decision to be baptized. I also wanted my children to know that I have a testimony of this gospel and that I am so grateful to have it in my life. I couldn't imagine raising our kids without the gospel as our base. We as parents, need all the help we can get :)

We LOVE you Sadie!
