Well its been an interesting fall. But I'll spare you the details. Instead I'll talk about where we are on the adoption. we finished up our home study in Sept only to find out that a key form was left out. Well it requires fingerprinting and special cards. So we are still waiting to get those done. we hopefully found a place here in town. we will get it done this week.
Our adoption agency was great to let us start working on our final set of paperwork, called a Dossier. We have most of that finished now and will hopefully mail it off the Texas in mid-December. We will have a few more docs to get done after that. So we are shooting for a mid-Jan 09 completely done with all paperwork and just waiting for the child timeline. We are approved to have a boy under 2, a sibling set with the oldest kid up to 5, and a few special needs kids, mainly a down syndrome child. We are still Pr-ying that G would give us direction and wisdom on which route to go.

Update on what we are doing and what we look like

This is a video of Eben on his rings. I'm also posting some pix as well. We are all doing well and are ready for the fall to come. Eben is a couple months away from finishing 1st grade in home school. Nya is well in K. Canaan is, well, she keeps us all on our toes.
We are in the process of adopting in case we failed to mention that to everyone. Our home study lady comes this weekend Sept 13th, to conduct the home study and adoption education. We are a bit nervous but at the same time confident in His guidance through all this. We will definitely keep you posted.

April and May, there was work and some play!

Well its been a while since we added some new pix of the family. So I thought that it was time to get some new ones up. Here are a few scattered over the last few months. We've had a busy few months. We had to go out of country to get new visas and are currently going out again. This has offered some needed rest but also a chance to hit some cool places for the kids. We went to a botanical garden, museums, and some good restaurants. We are going back to the same city this week and hope to hit even more parks, playgrounds, and museums than last time.

Eben started 1st grade in March. Nya started Pre K.
