ImageWe picked a sunny day to pick our pumpkins. Nonna came up from Baton Rouge to spend the weekend with us and we enjoyed our day. We changed things up a bit and went to the Greenbrier patch. We picked a few pumpkins and got lost in a spiderweb maze.

ImageThe week before Halloween we had a spooky party for all the kids that walk home with us. It was a fun time and this was my first time using Pinterest. Oh how I love Pinterest! I was busy playing so actually must not have snapped any pics during the party. We even made a box that the kids reached inside and felt "body parts"....yukky, yuk!

Besties

ImageI hate this picture turned out sooo dark, but anywho....I went to Shreveport for a quick 24 hour trip because all my college besties were in town. We ate meat pies at the Red River Revel, watched LSU game at sports bar, then met out for dinner at Cantina Laredo. It just always seems like we pick up just where we left off. Love them so much. NO drama, NO judgements. Love them sooo much. (from left-Lauren, Elisabeth, me, Stacey, Rachel, Leslie)

Batter Up

ImageCooper played his first baseball in October. "Fall Ball" was an instant hit with him. He really thought he was a major leaguer. When I signed him up, I figured it was tee ball....well, much to my dismay, it was machine pitch. He had never even swung a bat or had a glove. Every other kid seemed to be a professional, but he didn't notice and thankfully was a quick learner.
His first game started late so while we waited, we watched the other game on the field finishing up. One of the "line drives" hit the kid on the pitcher's mound and BOOM--he was flat on the ground. Then during our game, another line drive and BOOM--knocked a tooth out of our shortstop. Cooper looked up at me and said, "Am I gonna die?" I was actually pondering those same panicky thoughts, so I just said, "I don't know...go ask your coach"Image
Grandma and Grandpa came in town to watch our all star!
