April showers
Well April was a fun month.
We went to Oakland for a cousins wedding. It was so cold and rainy that it made me so glad we moved to Southern California where it's warm and sunny.
I got to see my parents for a day at my Abuelita house. Where we played and ate yummy food all day long.
I tested ponytails in Q's hair. And it makes me smile. She also is super into licking and chewing her finger/hand.
She looks super bald with all her pulled back so she is probably going to have bangs always.
She always wiggles way too much when I want to take pictures.
We had lunch with dad for take your kid to work day. I just love all the kid fun things we get to do now. She may be little but it never too early to start traditions.
My lifeguard took Q for her first swim at our cousins birthday party. She liked it. Kicked her legs and was making all sorts of noises. It was a fun time we only wish it was a warmer day so we could play longer in the pool. It started to rain and got windy so it was best to take her out of the pool.
We can't wait for the exciting things we got planned for May!

Twenties are coming to an end...:(
Yikes I am now in my final year of my 20's. Wow I guess I better make this the best year yet. And that seems easy with this little Q-tee by my side
She wasn't to thrilled about all the noise at the BYU vs UCLA men's volleyball game we went to with a few friends from our ward.
First Jesse tried to feed her to the Bruin. But then she fell asleep for a good ten mins, lol, in Jesse's favorite little pose. The guitar player.

Quarter of a century
This mister had a birthday. It happened to land just right this year and it was one to remember!
We started the day off by going to the Poppy Reserves. We are a little early in the season but at least we got a nice hike in and figured out where it is located.
Mister wanted to go somewhere he could use his mission critical baby carrier.
He is one happy dad!
There are some poppies. Apparently those lovely hills transform into rolling hills of orange. We can't wait to come back.
We had lunch and rested until all our family came into town to meet up for dinner.
A party of 14. Yikes not doing that again for a while. It was a nice dinner with family.
Then comes the deep sea Lego birthday cake.

February recap
Oh man. Our lives have turned upside down.
We added some shelves to Little Q's closet thanks to Abuelito. Her room is coming together nicely.
Jesse ended up having kidney stones. I found out when he called me from the emergency room one morning. Scared me but glad it wasn't anything major.
I had to sneak a pic of him waiting for the test results to come back.
Q's Aunt mailed us a gift of clothes and headbands. So of course we had to model them all.
We only got a few good shots.
Next was Valentine's Day! The Mister got up and made pancakes for breakfast. They were heart shaped and delicious!
We had a lovely sabbath day. It was a regional conference broadcast, which was lovely. I am still getting used to doing things with the baby.
Here she is in her Valentine's Day outfit and another headband.
Next big event was our second anniversary! Wow has a lot happened in these two years.
Mister bought Q and I some flowers for our planter box.
I almost convinced him to buy a boot pot to remind us of our Texas marriage but he said not this time. ☹️
