Christmas Morning!!!

Merry Christmas!







I didn't obviously take a lot of pictures, I guess I was fully enjoying the moments! So here is a run down/highlights-
Addy got her Kindle and beds for her American girl doll as well as some outfits for them.
Dawson got Madden 12 for the wii, Hogwarts lego train, and a Braves and Red Sox shirts!
Ky got his DS, some games,toy story legos and of course Beyblades!!!
The family got a air hockey table, which was a hit!
Bry got golf pass at Wolf Creek, a Braves shirt to go along with Braves tickets!!!
I got a fabulous new watch, jewlery box and some earrings to match the necklace I got last year!
It was a great day to spend with family and loved ones. I am so lucky and blessed to have the family I do in my life! It was even more special being on Sunday, we got to start out the day at church and reflecting on our Savior! I love Christmas on Sunday, it makes the day feel complete!

Nativity

After Christmas Eve dinner, we decided to act out the Nativity this year. It was so fun! I have such fond memories of doing this as a child. It was a great way for the kids to bring in the Spirit of Christmas. I hope they felt it and that is a fond memory for them to look back on!

Dad read the story. Luke of course was baby Jesus. Addy was Mary and Dawson was Joseph.....
"And she brought forth her firstborn son,and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger;" Luke 2:7

Ellie, Ky and Derek were shepards.....
"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night." Luke 2:8

Julsey was the angel......
"And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them," Luke 2:9
Bry, Rich and Tay were the wise men......
"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the King, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem." Matthew 2:1

Christmas Eve Gingerbread House

After sledding it was gingerbread house time! The kids look forward to this every year, and every year they have fun with it and are so creative! I love it! This was Ellie and Julsey's first time so Addy was all over showing them the ropes.

Christmas Eve Sledding

With all the family here Christmas Eve was so fun!! We kicked off the day with breakfast at Mom and Dads and then it was off sledding! Bry, Suz and I took the kids- Addy, Dawson, Ky and Ellie to CVHS where there is a awesome hill for sledding. The weather was perfect!!! It was Ellies 1st time sledding which made it a bit more exciting. It was so much fun!!!!! The kids had a BLAST!!!!They were fearless little snow bunnies!
Tay and Jenny showed up and joined in on the fun. Tay and Bry even had a few races down the hill! It was comical, broken sleds and all!!

Girls Christmas shopping

Today we headed to warm and sunny St. George for some much needed girl time and shopping! It was so fun. Picked me up some very last minute Christmas stuff and enjoyed the company! Thanks Babe for watching the kids! Oh and another highlight of today- Addy went to the movies for the first time with just her friends!!! By THEMSELVES!
As soon as we got back from shopping we picked up a sitter for the chitlins and all us adults went to the movies to see Sherlock Holmes which did not disappoint! So good! Kids were sound asleep when we got home, Great day in my book!!! And tomorrow is CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!

Family Here, Let the fun begin!!

Steh, Richard the kids, Derek, Sara and Tay and Jenny all got in to town last night. Today the fun began! We were planning on a girls day in St. George but the weather isn't cooperating. We decided to change and go tomorrow. So today we hit up Costa and then we all took the kids to Funtime Inflatables to play!!!

I love this picture. Ky and Ellie with their little hands and heads peering over the pool table! And then you have Dawson mouth open, tongue part way out playing with the pool chalk!

ELF and Friends

Tonight we had a movie pizza night with the kids and they each invited a friend. Ky invited Bubba, Dawson invited Carson and Addy invited Brooklynn.

The girls, to cool to sit with the fellas! Don't blame um either!
The movie was ELF! So funny and the boys totally enjoyed it!

"Where are you Christmas"

Addy's piano recital went wonderful! She played where are you Christmas and Deck the Halls. Way to put us in the Holiday Spirit! Keep up the good work Mistro!

The Holidays can be SO exhausting!
