KPMG Training in ATL

Last week I went to Atlanta for training with KPMG.  We stayed downtown, but didn't get out too much since training ended at 6 each day.  I did get out some and took a few pictures.  My favorites are at the very bottom though :)

We went as a group one night with people from the Philly and Minneapolis offices to dinner.  Got this steak, thank you per diem :)

Thursday night I went to The Varsity (http://thevarsity.com/), a famous hot dog place in town!  All the presidents who have visited the city have had a hot dog at The Varsity.

The best part of the whole week though was when I cam home to this guy on Friday!

Legendary Weekend

This past weekend was one of the best of the year for so many reasons!

Friday started off with Matt and I heading to Cheddar's for some yummy dinner!  I even convinced him to let us get cheese fries as an appetizer, always a good choice! So delicious!

Then we went home to wait for this cute guy to get to our house!  Cole Henry, Angie and Tom came in to visit from San Antonio!  Even past his bed time, Cole was up for smiling for us!

Cole and Uncle Matt.  Yes Cole can stand at 2 months!  He's a baller!

Saturday morning we go up early-ish and checked out the neighborhood garage sale!  We didn't find anything too exciting but Tom and Angie got a few small things :)  After shopping, we came home and relaxed, at lunch and played with Cole until it was time to start getting ready for the A&M v. bama game.

The girls ran an errand and got this picture from the guys titled "Daddy Day Care"  Making sure Cole is ready for the NBA!

May it be forever remembered that we beat number 1 ranked Alabama!  Whoop!  We were up the whole game!  So exciting!  And so much more fun to watch with great friends!

After Cole went to sleep, we played a little game of Balderdash.  Tom won!

Happy Election Day

Happy Election Day!

I came home to this site in our living room!  Thanks Stress for the hand-me-down flag so we could watch the election in style :)  Praying for our country and all those God has put into places of authority!

Redeemer Church: Trunk or Treat

October 28th, Sunday, was Trunk or Treat at Redeemer.  Our community group hosted two trunks, a super hero truck with a bean bag toss and an Aggie trunk with a football pass.  The games were a hit and of course a lot of people had something to say about the Aggie gear.

Grayson (Haley and Brad Smith's son) was a banana, and as you will see later, his sister was a monkey! Grayson getting into the candy already :)

Can you believe this isn't even all of the Aggies in our group?!  Gig 'em! (missing the Cooks and Richters)

I'd say Trunk or Treat was a success!  So much fun and all the kids looked so cute.  We've been told to expect an LSU trunk next year, but we aren't worried, we have some more spirit up our sleeves :)

Happy Halloween from the Cypress small group(s)!
