OUR LOVESTORY:
I came to Canada in the year of 1990 on the 10th of November, the day after my birthday. I met Brad on May 05, 1991 on the way to a Christian Conference in New Market Ontario. We became friends and we liked to meet in a coffee shop and talk about our lives. We also attended the same Church. It used to be Guelph Community Church (a non-denomination Org.)On June 26, 1993 at the wedding of our friends Mary and Tim he surprised me by asking me to go out for a walk. We walked down the parking lot and we sat down on the bench outside the Canadian Legion where the wedding was. He surprised me again by asking me on a real date and so that was the beginning of our romance.On July 01 we went on our first official date. Brad took me South to Lake Erie ending up at Long Point Beach. We strolled along the shore. He stole a kiss on my cheek and said "That's from Jim" "Cute".

PROPOSAL AND ENGAGEMENT:
Brad came that weekend to my apartment and we made plans to go somewhere. We hadn’t yet decided where exactly but we talked about a place that has a falls. It was March 05, 2000 by the way. We were just hanging out when something fell on the floor. We both got down on the floor to pick it up. Suddenly, we found ourselves looking at each other. It was magical…intense. He never looked at me like that before. He kissed me and asked, "Will you marry me? " I said, "Yes" I was smiling but at the same time nervous and he was so serious. I was smiling because I thought he was joking. I kept asking him "Are you sure?" and he kept repeating ‘Will you marry me?" I knew then that he was not joking. I could see it in his face. He was so excited and so was I. We never did get to our plan that day instead we went to a restaurant in Kitchener called Martinis at Steakhouse to celebrate. Later, we went to looked at some engagement rings. He found a ring that I liked it’s a diamond trinity with heart in each side and also with matching wedding band.On March 11, Brad picked up the ring and we went to the Canadian Legion (This is the place where Brad asked me out for a real date) and there he gave me the engagement ring. We were both so excited -Brad ran to Hamilton and told his parents and everybody at work. I tried calling my friends on the telephone but no one was home . So I left a message. "hey! Guys I have something to tell you! Guess what" when they called back they had all guessed that I was getting married. I had known Brad by then about 9 years. Our relationship wasn’t perfect but we have good memories to tell. We have had ups and downs but with God on our side we were able to overcome all the difficulties and hindrances in our lives. One thing I’m very proud of is that Brad believes in God and he can dance. We are now a Happily married couple.

We celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary started with dozens of roses then we went to Latinos Restaurant. After that we went to see a movie called "Just like Heaven"

MARE: Unsaon man gud pare, ka’y nakasa-ad man ko sa akong bana sa buhi pa siya , nga dili ko magminyo samtang basa pa ang iyang lubong, ma-ong akong gipaypayan aron dali nga mauga.

Konsulta
BABAE: dok, unsa may angay nako nga buhaton para dili nako anakansa akong bana kay daghan na me og anak.
DOKTOR: sayon ra na, ug malibat na gani imong bana sikari dayon.
BABAE: mao lang na dok? sigi dok salamat ha! SA PIPILA KA ADLAW MIBALIK ANG BABAE SA DOKTOR
BABAE: dok nabuntis naman pod ko dok oy?
DOKTOR: ngano man wala nimo sikari imong bana sa dihang nalibat na sya?
BABAE: unsaon man god dok sa dihang gipaspasan sa akong bana ako may una nalibat…….

A man was sleeping at night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light and the Savior appeared. The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The Lord explained that the man was to push against the rock with all his might. This the man did, day after day. For many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, pushing with all his might.

Each night the man returned to his cabin sore, and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain. Seeing that the man was showing signs of discouragement, the Adversary decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the man's weary mind: "You have been pushing against that rock for a long time, and it hasn't budged. Why kill yourself over this? You are never going to move it." Thus giving the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure, these thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man.

"Why kill myself over this?" he thought. "I'll just put in my time, giving just the minimum effort and that will be good enough." And that is what he planned to do until one day he decided to make it a matter of prayer and take his troubled thoughts to the Lord. "Lord" he said, "I have labored long and hard in your service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?

"The Lord responded compassionately, "My child, when I asked you to serve me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength, which you have done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to push. And now you come to me, with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back sinew and brown, your hands are callused from constant pressure, and your legs have become massive and hard. Through opposition you have grown much and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. Yet you haven't moved the rock. But your calling was to be obedient and to push and to exercise your faith and trust in My wisdom. This you have done. I, my friend, will now move the rock."

At times, when we hear a word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when actually what God wants is just simple obedience and faith in Him. By all means, exercise the faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God who moves the mountains.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes… Romans 1:16

Clay Aiken concert in Toronto

American Canadian Idol Clay Aiken
My friend and I went to Toronto for a Clay Aiken Concert. It was held in The AmphiTheater at Ontario Place. My friend and her husband picked me up around 5:00PM. It was nice of my friend's hubby to drive us to Toronto. We both don't like driving in Toronto. It's a good thing that my friend's husband was willing to drive us. Isn't he a good husband?

On the other hand my hubby took care of Abby while I was at the concert. My friend's hubby dropped us up at Ontario Place. And then he roamed Toronto, until the concert was over. It was a two hour concert. The theme was the 60's to the 21st century. My favorite song was I can't help falling in love, Unchained Melody, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Mandy, Solitaire and many more. The concert was over at around 11:00PM and I got home around 12:00 AM. Brad and Abby were sleeping when I got home. The next day I asked Brad how he did it with Abby. He said it was fine.

At 9:00PM they played for a while. When it was time for bed Brad gave Abby a 1 1/2 bottle of milk. Later, Abby fell asleep. In an hour Abby woke up. Brad gave her another bottle. And then she fell asleep again.My friend and I had a great time. Although my friend noticed that I was worried about Abby. But I enjoyed the concert.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied: "My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you.During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
