September is my favorite month of the year. You know why? It’s because September is the month I married the man that I love. It’s also the month that my daughter was born. So, what am I doing now?
Well, I am scrapping ( smile ). OK ! Actually I’m planning for my daughter’s birthday party to be held here in our place on September 23. Her actual birthday is Sept. 18 but we want to do it on a Saturday. We choose to do it on the following Saturday since our Anniversary is on Sept. 22.

Anyways, I just bought some invitation cards, decorations, and some balloons. The theme is Dora.

On September 26, is the day that my mother and brother to appear in the Canadian Immigration. They are going to take the Oath of Citizenship. They came to Canada five years ago on May 2001 4 months before our Wedding Day. And now, they are going to be a Canadian Citizen officially on Sept. 26.

Since it’s our daughter’s birthday and our anniversary. I would like to share with you her birthstory and our lovestory, wedding, and etc. By the way in a scrappy style.

It was the most significant day of our lives. The big day had finally arrived. I woke up around 7:00 am. I got up and showered and ate my breakfast. I was somewhat nervous and relaxed all the same time. I visited the hall for the last time to see if everything was Ok. The hall was looking beautiful with the stunning decorations especially after I put the centrepieces. Linda and Becky showed up and helped me. After that, I went to pick up the corsages and boutonnieres and headed to Lilia’s house. My dress was waiting for me there arrayed on one of the beds in the house. And the hairstylist and make-up artist was ready to fix me after doing the bridesmaids. We ate something and drank tea. We listened to music and took pictures. And the videographer was there as well trying to make us talk on video. Before long I was transformed into THE BRIDE. Mom and Dad (Brad’s parents) came to pick us up to go to the church. More pictures were taken. I felt like I was being transported on thin air out of the house. (Linda, Becky, and Lilia are my friends).

OUR LOVESTORY:
I came to Canada in the year of 1990 on the 10th of November, the day after my birthday. I met Brad on May 05, 1991 on the way to a Christian Conference in New Market Ontario. We became friends and we liked to meet in a coffee shop and talk about our lives. We also attended the same Church. It used to be Guelph Community Church (a non-denomination Org.)On June 26, 1993 at the wedding of our friends Mary and Tim he surprised me by asking me to go out for a walk. We walked down the parking lot and we sat down on the bench outside the Canadian Legion where the wedding was. He surprised me again by asking me on a real date and so that was the beginning of our romance. On July 01 we went on our first official date. Brad took me South to Lake Erie ending up at Long Point Beach. We strolled along the shore. He stole a kiss on my cheek and said "That's from Jim" "Cute".

PROPOSAL AND ENGAGEMENT:
Brad came that weekend to my apartment and we made plans to go somewhere. We hadn’t yet decided where exactly but we talked about a place that has a falls. It was March 05, 2000 by the way. We were just hanging out when something
Imagefell on the floor. We both got down on the floor to pick it up. Suddenly, we found ourselves looking at each other. It was magical…intense. He never looked at me like that before. He kissed me and asked, "Will you marry me? " I said, "Yes" I was smiling but at the same time nervous and he was so serious. I was smiling because I thought he was joking. I kept asking him "Are you sure?" and he kept repeating ‘Will you marry me?" I knew then that he was not joking. I could see it in his face. He was so excited and so was I. We never did get to our plan that day instead we went to a restaurant in Kitchener called Martinis at Steakhouse to celebrate. Later, we went to looked at some engagement rings. He found a ring that I liked it’s a diamond trinity with heart in each side and also with matching wedding band.On March 11, Brad picked up the ring and we went to the Canadian Legion (This is the place where Brad asked me out for a real date) and there he gave me the engagement ring. We were both so excited -Brad ran to Hamilton and told his parents and everybody at work. I tried calling my friends on the telephone but no one was home . So I left a message. "hey! Guys I have something to tell you! Guess what" when they called back they had all guessed that I was getting married. I had known Brad by then about 9 years. Our relationship wasn’t perfect but we have good memories to tell. We have had ups and downs but with God on our side we were able to overcome all the difficulties and hindrances in our lives. One thing I’m very proud of is that Brad believes in God and he can dance. We are now a Happily married couple.

On Our Anniversary

For my husband:
We've grown into this life
one day,one challenge, one celebration at a time…
We've become a family with a crazy, funny runaround life.
We've built a home, filled it with warmth and caring, made it a place where love and dreams can grow…
And it all begins with love, the love you give every day.
I'm so thankful for the life we share and the happiness we've found together.
For my wife:
As time goes by, I realize how very little it takes to Imagemake me happy…
Being with you. That's all… just being with you…

We celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary started with dozens of roses then we went to Latinos Restaurant. After that we went to see a movie called "Just like Heaven"

Here's our favorite song

  • Bless,
  • I'm afraid that we don't have a good voice to sing but I'm proud to say that we can dance the night away.

  • More pictures here
  • Could I have this dance
    Anne Murray

I'll always remember the song they were playin',
The first time we danced and I knew,
As we swayed to the music and held to each other,
I fell in love with you.

Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?
Would you be my partner every night?
When we're together, it feels so right.
Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?

I'll always rememImageber that magic moment,
When I held you close to me.
    'Cause we moved together,
    I knew forever,
    You're all I'll ever need

Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?
Would you be my partner every night?
When we're together, it feels so right.
Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?
Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?

Would you be my partner every night?
When we're together, it feels so right.
Could I have this dance for the rest of my life?

Image hosted by Photobucket.comRed roses were her favorites, her name was also Rose. And every year her husband sent them, tied with pretty bows. The year he died, the roses were delivered to her door. The card said, "Be my Valentine," like all the years before.

Each year he sent her roses, and the note would always say, "I love you even more this year, than last year on this day." "My love for you will always grow, with every passing year."
She knew this was the last time that the roses would appear. She thought, he ordered roses in advance before this day. Her loving husband did not know, that he would pass away. He always liked to do things early, way before the time. Then, if he got too busy, everything would work out fine.
She trimmed the stems, and placed them in a very special vase. Then, sat the vase beside the portrait of his smiling face. She would sit for hours, in her husband's favorite chair. While staring at his picture, and the roses sitting there.

A year went by, and it was hard to live without her mate. With loneliness and solitude, that had become her fate. Then, the very hour, as on Valentines before, the doorbell rang, and there were roses, sitting by her door.

She brought the roses in, and then just looked at them in shock. Then went to get the telephone, to call the florist shop. The owner answered, and she asked him, if he would explain, Why would someone do this to her, causing her such pain?

"I know your husband passed away, more than a year ago," the owner said, "I knew you'd call, and you would want to know." "The flowers you received today, were paid for in advance." "Your husband always planned ahead, he left nothing to chance." "There is a standing order, that I have on file down here, and he has paid, well in advance, you'll get them every year. There also is another thing, that I think you should know, he wrote a special little card…he did this years ago"."Then, should ever, I find out that he's no longer here, that's the card…that should be sent, to you the following year."

She thanked him and hung up the phone, her tears now flowing hard. Her fingers shaking, as she slowly reached to get the card."Inside the card, she saw that he had written her a note. Then, as she stared in total silence, this is what he wrote…"Hello my love, I know it's been a year since I've been gone, I hope it hasn't been too hard for you to overcome.""I know it must be lonely, and the pain is very real. For if it was the other way, I know how I would feel. The love we shared made everything so beautiful in life. I loved you more than words can say, you were the perfect wife."

"You were my friend and lover, you fulfilled my every need. I know it's only been a year, but please try not to grieve. I want you to be happy, even when you shed your tears. That is why the roses will be sent to you for years.""When you get these roses, think of all the happiness, that we had together, and how both of us were blessed. I have always loved you and I know I always will. But, my love, you must go on, you have some living still." "Please…try to find happiness, while living out your days. I know it is not easy, but I hope you find some ways. The roses will come every year, and they will only stop, when your door's not answered, when the florist stops to knock.""He will come five times that day, in case you have gone out. But after his last visit, he will know without a doubt, to take the roses to the place, where I've instructed him, and place the roses where we are, together once again."
