support system

I am lucky to have such supportive, ambitious group of friends. Everyone has bigger dreams for themselves, and we are always pushing each other to bring out the best. With all the great plans ahead I wonder if I am doing enough for myself. Am I pushing myself hard enough? Am I realising my true potential? What motivates me? When will I be a CEO? Not just any CEO, we want to own multinational companies, make serious corporate decisions, all of these before we turn 40.
I hope all of these will eventually turn into actual plans. Here's to the best years of our lives, and here's to living your life to the fullest with friends.

A letter to a younger Ainaa.

Dear Ainaa,
I know you have been struggling with choosing your career path. The traditional, 'professional' jobs don't really appeal to you. You never actually wanted to be a doctor, engineer, lawyer, or accountant. You had dreams of becoming a scientist but the laboratory environment was holding you down. But remember what they say: Do what you love. And your current job as a Research Consultant is proof of that. You may not work at an international oil & gas company. You might not get to wear a lab coat. But you get to build your soft skills. Your career path might be unconventional, but dream big, and that path is paved for you in the future. Take pride in what you do, and don't worry too much about not falling into the conventional categories.

Signed,
Your 4-month employed Ainaa.
