Beanie Sigel’s taxes vs. Mitt Romney’s taxes:
According to the government (hi guys!), Beanie Sigel only paid $10,000 on $2.2 million in income between 1999 and 2005. That’s about .45%, which is very little. The government is mad; the government would have liked Beanie to pay $738,536 on that income. That’s about 33.57%. Beanie will now, more likely than not, go to jail.
Mitt Romney paid a 13% effective tax rate over the last decade.
Now, I’m no accountant, but: yeah. I don’t know.
