Today at church the Pastor talked about intercessory prayer. Several years a go I had felt that God was calling me to pray. I mean really pray! I constantly sought out opportunities to pray on behalf of people and organizations. I have slacked off.
This is an idea that came to me this morning. I want to pray for you. I know not many people read this. But I feel God calling me to pray again. You can either add a comment or email me at ankcountingblessings @ gmail dot com. If you wish to be anonymous with your identity or your need that is fine with me. I will make sure to pray. God will know who you are and your needs.
I hope to post more about this later. But for now I needed to get this thought "out there."

Beauty shop
So I tried out a new hair dresser the other day....
I really like her. I think I will make her my regular hairdresser.
What do you think?

She is very talented!
She is super cute.
And she loves to accessorize!
I think I had about 15 clips and bows in my hair when she was done. Sadly the camera battery died. This was the first time she had wanted to do my hair. She combed it out then added all the clips that she could. She tried to add some ponytail bows, but she could not quite get them to work the way she wanted. Since then she has done momma's hair several times, but not to this extent. I love it!

And the answer is...
Florida!
I must have had you all stumped. Not a single guess. Oh well. Anyway, enough of that...
I had never been to Florida. I have only been on the east side of the Mississippi River two times previously. It was also exciting to do some more high lighting in our atlas. Adam and I have an atlas that we purchased as newlyweds. We have been charting our travels together.
(sporting my mom's clip on glasses)
We went to Florida to see some friends who had recently moved there. We were sad to see then go. But is was great to visit. Naomi is a great traveler. She loves getting in the car. She did not have a single accident either!
(Here she had just had a swiss roll)
Since the drive is 16 hours we decided to make it a 2 day trip down. We stayed at the KOA in West Memphis. We got a Kabin (Thank goodness. There was a family who camped and they were bombarded with mosquitoes all night!) Naomi Loved crawling and climbing all over the bunk beds!
They had a giant checkers/chess board
Daddy gave Naomi lessons on how to play. I think she is going to need a few more.
And soon we were on the road again to see our friends!

I have been taking pictures of flowers again. Here are a few of my favorites!
(Denise, let me know if you want any of these for your class.)

little notes...
Soon after we got back Naomi and I had a craft day. I needed to send out some cards. And I know Naomi would be willing to help. So we made these...
I used thin green ribbon (left over from my wedding 5 and a half years ago) for the stems. I tore up some tissue paper in to small pieces. Naomi and I then scrunched them up and I put glue on the tops of the stems. Naomi did all the rest of the work. She loved it. I only needed 3 cards but she was having so much fun. We made a few extras.
