Family/business trip

We were blessed by Adam employer to be able to go on a family/business trip.  Adam had some training that he needed and his boss asked if Naomi and I would like to go along.  The next few posts will be about our trip.

On our way we made a stop by our favorite parks.  It was good to get out and stretch and run around a bit.

 

So fun.  We reached our destination.  And checked in to our hotel.  We got a room with double queen beds.  Naomi was in HEAVEN! She had a huge bed to stretch out in.  

 

Our first night we took it easy.  Naomi and daddy watched some TV.

Puppy!

You would think my daughter wanted a puppy.  But she has one.  They are even learning to play together. It is so much fun to see them play together.  They are buddies! When Naomi is not around Rubia just pouts.  It is pretty sad. 

A few weeks ago my daughter's boredom level must have been at an all time high and her creativity level at a high.  I  came in the kitchen to cook supper and I discovered that She was playing fetch with....HERSELF!

She would throw the rope over the banister and then run over to it's location, pick it up in her mouth(yuck), then crawl back to the kitchen.  There she would drop the rope, bark, stand up and repeat the process. 

She did it for at least 10 minutes.  And she has done it several times since.  I think the dog was just as amused as Adam and I were. 

Fancy Schmancy!

I took this one after church one day.  She LOVES her red Christmas dress.  It had been a good morning for her at church.  She had played a lot.  How do I know?  She was grumpy and tired.  She would not smile for me at all.
