really?

was watching 27 dresses to destress and im probably the only human alive to watch 27 dresses in the year 2009, after it came like so-long-ago-i-cant-even-remember-when-it-came-out.

anyway, but nothing beats pree, she hasnt watch lord of the rings.
we tried to 'educate' her, but 15 minutes into the movie she fell asleep.
i guess the only thing that keeps her awake is her beloved BOOKS.

so anyway, James Marsden, who plays Kevin in the movie said something funny. and i couldnt stop laughing because of it.

kevin : love is patient, love is kind, love is slowly losing your mind.

it rhymed which made it funny-er
but children, you shouldnt always listen to what the big black box tells you, they sometimes teach the wrongs things.
and kids, there is love out there, dont give up! *fake stern face*
but it was funny nonetheless.

i kinda blame the media for teaching us all the bad things in the world.
they put things in your head.

quantum physics

growing up, i have had my fair number of aspirations and dreams.
some stayed, some was well, just me being ambitious.

so, today was with pree and we were talking about MIT.
me telling her that it wasnt an ivy league, she didnt really believing me.
but yeah, so i said that i used to want to be an engineer specializing in nano technology.
then she laugh at me.

so anyway, yeah.
then i said i used to REALLY want to be an engineer, for some strange reason,
until i stumbled upon a subject called physics.
and that dream sort of sizzled away.

physics and i had a fairly good relationship when we first met.
then as we got to know each other,
things started to change.
he [physics] was always being so difficult.
we just couldnt see eye to eye.
then at one point, we just couldnt understand each other.
together, we just gave up on the relationship.

so, basically thats how my 2 year relationship with physics ended.
pretty traumatizing too.
smashed my dreams of being an engineer.
sad.

so, today went to college when i didnt have to.
i didnt know. nobody told me =(
so i woke up so early. but good also lah, then at least i can experience the 'morning' in the.....morning.
not eat breakfast during lunch time.

pree : hello al? you baru bangun ke?
alithea : err, yeah.
pree : what are you doing?
alithea : erm, eating breakfast?


anyway, saw the new jannies today.
so banyak. they were sprouting from all over the college like mushrooms
so crowded. they were in room 2.6 till the back.
how is datin going to teach them malaysia studies? 3 classes ar?
the horror. when they sit for malaysian studies test, not only do they have to sit at the corridor but at the staircase too. too many heads.

not bad lah, talked to some of them, though not a lot.
met this japanese guy. so cute.
i know how to say his name, not so sure how to spell it.
pree dragged him into the marketing room and interrogate the poor little japanese boy.
but i kinda encouraged her, so maybe i should take some of the blame, if the boy becomes 'sot-sot' because of us. haha

oklah, better get back to studying.
