laughing workaholic

kids are at their funniest when they are at their worst.

been helping my aunt mark her english tuition class books.
and boy, have i had my fair share of good laughs while marking those books, or should i say smoldering the essays with my red pen.
i'm not saying that they're not good, they just need a little fine tuning.
for some, for others well, lets just say they need more practice.

here's a snippet which i found really amusing. not that it was bad, it was just funny.

'...you won't miss my house, it's the only one with the blue gate. if you can't find it, you really need to see a doctor...'

i couldnt stop laughing.

i've got the flu?

something funny happened today.
something that i must share.


my mum and i have been discussing about changing my maxis broadband to a celcom one,
so, we talked to the people and everything.
it's definitely cheaper, but i would have to pay RM350 for the modem
which i already have, from the maxis one.

so today i wanted to go there again, and check whether i could use my maxis usb modem but use a celcom line.

so i was happily walking to the shop and i smiled to the personnel all the while holding my maxis broadband modem.
stares greeted me instead
there was also down right apprehension in the room.
they were quite surprised that i was walking into a celcom shop.
it was like my maxis broadband carried with it the A H1N1 virus.
the people working there looked at my modem as if it was the plague.

it was kinda funny because there i was, smiling away, holding it
like the harbinger of the swine flu.
haha.
and the personnel who attended to me, asked his boss whether i can use the modem or not, the boss couldnt even look at the modem without detesting it.
i think he wanted to take the modem and smash it into a million pieces.
poor maxis modem.
