Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I'm not going to write a lot
this week. We don't have much time at all. It's 60 and pouring today.
Weird weather. But I had a pretty great Christmas. We spent Christ,as
EVE with this sweet lady from the twig and her family. They were a lot
of fun. Kept the alcohol to a minimum for us haha. Had lots of
screaming kids everywhere. It was hilarious watching them rip open
their presents. Food was super yummy too. Real mashed potatoes.
Christmas Day we had a cute little program at the twig. And there were
was a lot more people than normal. A less active we have been working
with for months and months finally came to church for the first time
in a long time. And Justin and Becca came again. Best feeling ever to
see them all there. Justin has a baptismal date for January 7th and I
am so excited for him. Only small hiccup that we found is that he's
not actually legally married..... so as long as he gets a marriage
certificate by January 6th it will all work out.... prayers.
We spent Christmas night with the Roney family. They only moved in a
few months ago so we ate at a blue card table, but it was a lot of
fun. Brother Roney is a professional Klingon from Star Trek. Like an
actual professional and literally speaks Klingon. Very interesting.
His wife is Hawaiian and works as a chef at the hotel in French Lick.
They have 2 little kids with wild imaginations. We played clue with
them and I won :D
Got to skype home too. So good and so hard all at the same time.
Bawled for hours. But I am so glad I got to see them. Dad opened my
present and it was hilarious. Awesome look on his face haha.
Hope you are all doing well. Love and miss you all.
