Ava doesn't like to be alone. So much, in fact, that when I take a shower, she has recently started hiding in our bed, under the covers. Poor baby can get a little scared. I remember being a "little" scared too...the house can creak. The wind blows. The dishwasher makes a funny noise, etc.
Ava LOVES to color, but, not by herself...that would classify as 'alone' - she prefers me to either color with her or watch her color.
Ava can play by herself - and she actually can entertain herself for over an hour(s) - but lately she's not digging the alone time so much.

The light is for the fish that we are pet-sitting for Gerrit and Colette while they are in Disney world.
Miriam came over to play after dinner - both girls were squealing
Jay got a french press because he's a coffee snob. I'm not name calling - he calls himself this.
Jay was stretching (no photo, sorry :)) and he made some flippant comment - "give me a couple months and I'll be as flexible as you..." so I had to show him - in my Santa pajamas that my Mom made me when I was in high school.
Hiding Buddy for Ava. Macy REALLY wanted to hide Buddy.
I was planning on posting Dec 7th & 8th too, but after waiting for over 20 minutes, blogger is still having trouble and I can't upload a single photo. So, good night sweet darlings...

Dec 4, 2012
Hi!
For those curious types, I haven't blogged for a couple reasons. First: super busy. Gone. Then, I maxed out my photo storage and couldn't post photos. Solved that problem...but then I had another problem: every time I tried to post a pic, blogger shut down. I finally figured out how not to crash blogger. :)
December 4, 2012
A dry day.
Jay and I knew what that meant...head downtown for some fun with the girlie's! Jay picked up Macy from school, she changed out of her school uniform, and we were off.
Ava doesn't really believe in Santa...or does she???
I wasn't sure how Macy would react to the whole visit with Santa. Macy's entering that pre-teen stage (at 10years) and does.not.believe.in.Santa...so I wasn't going to make her do anything. However, 'Santa' called her over (after Ava was done telling him what she wanted - an American Girl Doll and that's it. :)) and she went right over. Either she's still hanging on to being a little girl - or - she did it for Ava because she's that good of a big sister. :)
The 'rainbow tree' as Ava called it - a 75' Douglas fir tree.
Pre-babies, Jay and I would go downtown every year the day after Thanksgiving for the lighting of the tree in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Post-lovies, we've only made it a few times. We no longer go rain or shine.
Jay's favorite store at Pioneer Square
Macy LOVES to walk across the sky bridge
It was a perfect evening.

Today was just one of those busy days.
Chiropractor in the am.
Macy had early release at 11:30.
I was squealing (not making this up) in the car after I picked her up. Macy is on Thanksgiving break until Nov. 26th. SMILE.
We had lunch.
And then, Sophie's birthday party at Skateworld. For 3 hours.
Anyone who knows me, knows that Skateworld, unchanged in 30 years, is not my favorite place. However, I walk in and see her:
Heidi.
We sat and talked like we were at Starbucks. Minus the coffee. Plus the skateworld stinky sock smell.
Melissa made this cute microphone and cupcakes.
And then, my sweetie pie, asked me to skate with her.
She's a wall hugger when it comes to skating.
I guess my baby still needs me.
I put on the skates and actually had fun.
We left skating for hip-hop.
I went to get twinkies for part of Macy's treats for her party tomorrow.
And no twinkies to be found.
And good luck ever finding them - Hostess is bankrupt and is no longer making them. And Wonderbread. And dingdongs.
O wait. You can get them, on e-bay, if you are willing to spend $500 for a box of twinkies.
Went to Wal-Mart.
I hate Wal-Mart.
It's freezing. Not in Wal-Mart, outside is freezing.
I got home, just after 8pm.
Tired.
Then I got loves from my babies.
And Macy told me she thinks I'm cool.
I'm not naive. Macy's not always going to think I'm cool...but for now...I'll take it. :P

I went to the mall today with Ava and her doll, Lanie.
Lanie stayed on Ava's hip the ENTIRE time.
Ah-ha. I get it. Ava's on hips A LOT, so therefore Lanie needs to be on her hip...
Last year, I wanted a gold sparkly dress.
Like this one.
I sent this picture to several friends - and told them if they EVER saw it - or one like it - to call me IMMEDIATELY (treat like an emergency) and we'd go from there. :)
I even showed a pic (on my phone) to some new friends when I was in Cancun last December, and a few weeks later, one gal came through.
There was a sliiiight problem though.
The price was...um...let's just say I should have got 10 pairs of jeans, 8 sweaters, 6 dresses, and 2 pairs of socks WITH it. :)
Forever 21.
I seriously love the store.
FOR THE PRICES.
The dress I'm wearing below: $29.99
I've been wanting a dress (like it) for so long...
And now that's it's in my reach, I'm unsure?
What's that about.
???
Am I over sparkle?
Nah.
I'll tell you.
It was a smidge too big.
I decide to take a picture, and think about it.
I would not wear legging or these fats with it.
I wasn't taking the pic for my blog, I think that's obvious.
Oh, and that super cute sweater - too big.
I tried on 6 reeeeaaallly cute things - all too big.
I took the girls to Good Shepherd's 27th Annual Harvest Moon Bazaar.
Here they are at Tina's booth - see the pic of the girls?
This is the only one I have of us 4.
I wasn't planning on showing this pic either, but what the heck.
Ava laughed so hard.
I have duck lips in this pic.
Ava was ready to go.
I totally think you could have figured that out just by looking at Ava...
I never know what to do when I have two pictures, each with a problem.
This one: Ava caught my arm in movement. It looks weird.
And this one: Macy's looking at someone who called her name.
Just as we were leaving, I saw 6 people I haven't seen in ages.
Here's my friend Kristi.
She's pretty amazing.
She is self-less.
Honorable.
Generous.
Wise.
No, she doesn't read my blog. :)
She lives her life like most of us don't have courage to do.
She lives in Sandy.
That's only like 30-40 minutes away.
I can't figure out why for the life of me we don't see each other but at random places like this?
We were SUPA good friends. Like Sisters. Like vacation together type of friends 15 years ago.
Some may say the 8 kids between us may have a little to do with it.
Well, I'll tell you something.
We are going out on a date.
In a few weeks.
