Alternative Transport is a blog by Stephan F. Steinbach, currently residing in Vienna, who is a cartography, language and travel enthusiast, with an engineering background. Steinbach, quien administra el sitio Transporte alternativoparece mucho más interesado en cartografía y transporte como morfología y etimología. Pero hizo una contribución a un concepto lingüístico llamado «diferencia léxica» con el mapa que ves arriba, una colorida visualización de 2015 de idiomas europeos, agrupados en grupos según sus subfamilias (cursiva-románica, báltica, eslava, germánica, etc.). -ver un versión mucho más grande aquí).
