Thanks for all your patience as I navigated another holiday season. It’s been a bit crazy, but at last I have had a chance to read all your stories, and finally finish my own. So a quick recap on everything so far:
Woodsy generously submitted two gifts, which you can find here: Ferncrusher Gets Her Comeuppance and here: I Do and I Don’t. His deft handling of tricky emotional whirls and magical stuff sparkles with tenderness, and always fits in with the holiday spirit!
Patti’s gift is Christmas Red, and it’s very appropriate for the holiday season. There wasn’t a way to leave a comment on her site, so I’m going to leave mine here: “I can definitely identify with the worry one has when a loved one doesn’t respond, so Stevie really earned that spanking! But the love they share is beautiful, and brings the holiday warm and fuzzies. Thanks so much for participating!
”
Ellie was also generous enough to leave us with two gifts: A Perfect Christmas and Meet Neve Martins…and build your own adventure. The first was a very moving tale about a couple who understand each other so well, and the second is an invitation to play with the AI Top character she’s created. So impressive! 🙌 Finally, here’s a post that explains it all: Just a post to catch up and introduce the rest.
Andie’s gift is another installment in her ongoing Darcy saga, featuring another challenging brat, and you can find it here: Commodore Mathews Takes on a Challenge. I always think of the stories as “Star Trek explores spanko territory” 😆, and if that sounds up your alley then be sure to check it out!
James is a new contributor to the Holiday Exchange, but he’s clearly no stranger to the discipline genre, as you will see if you check out the other work on his site. His story is both sweet and funny, and you can find it here: Last Minute.
Nicky is a longtime contributor to the Holiday Exchange, and she has her own website as well as stories hosted on Archive of Our Own. Her story this year is one which has a perfectly matched top and bottom, but which also hints at a sci-fi/fantasy backstory. You can find it here: To Play or Not to Play.
Finally, my own story (rather brief and a few days late) needs a bit of a disclaimer. If you read it you will understand why my head hasn’t been in the writing space recently, but it does express definite political views. If that doesn’t put you off 😝, you can find it (and all the other stories) on the Holiday Exchange page, or just click here: The Suckiest Year.
And, as always, please take the time to express your appreciation to the authors who have shared their work — I am so grateful for the time and effort they put into their gifts, and the thoughtfulness they show in sharing them with all of us! 🥰
