External Service Connection / Security

Sigmize connects your WordPress site with our SaaS securely. When a user initiates a connection, they are redirected to the SaaS login page. Upon clicking Connect, the SaaS generates a short-lived, single-use token which is sent back to WordPress via a redirect. WordPress then verifies the token server-to-server before storing the access token and user data for future API calls. Tokens are time-limited (1–5 minutes), single-use, and encrypted in transit using HTTPS. This ensures secure authentication, prevents token reuse, and protects user data. No actions are taken by WordPress until token verification succeeds. The access token will be used to sync A/B test experiments on the WordPress site. All privacy and data handling comply with WordPress.org Plugin Guidelines.

You can report the issue through our Bug Bounty Program. We collaborate with Patchstack to provide opportunities for researchers to report vulnerabilities. The Patchstack team will help validate, triage, and handle any reported security issues.

We have been using Sigmize to split test our homepage hero and opt-in banners, and it has been excellent so far.The biggest win for us is how it sends traffic to distinct URLs for each variant. That makes tracking in Google Analytics straightforward compared to other tools we have tried, where everything is jammed on one URL and hard to analyze.The interface is simple, the test setup flow is logical, and performance has been stable on a fairly busy site. I also appreciate that the product focuses on doing one thing well (A/B testing and routing) instead of trying to be an all-in-one marketing suite. The Sigmize Team also mentioned that they will be realizing more features, one including being able to test pop-ups and banners. We are very exciited for that as well.

So einfach und schnell habe ich noch nie einen AB Test gemacht. Schnelle Einrichtung. Damit man es DSGVO konform nutzen kann, muss man aber (im Moment) das Tool über den JS Code laden und nicht nativ über das WordPress Plugin. Aber es ist noch so neu am Markt und das Team massiv motiviert, dass ich mir über das keine Gedanken mache im Moment. Das wird zu 100% eingebaut.
