Silly Teagan - School photos

I put all the grandkids school pictures up that I got for Christmas. When
they came to my house later, the first thing Teagan said when we got here
was, "Grandma, where is my picture?"
He was the only one that hadn't gotten his pictures yet so he still had his
older picture up.

Teaganisms

Teagan (age 5) is playing with his Iron Man and Iron Patriot action figures and when they hit each other he yells "Gotham!". I think he is a bit confused but definitely cute.

London was telling me about her schools practice on being safe. I assume this is in case someone comes into the school to do harm:

If there is an elephant trying to get us we all go in the girls bathroom and turn off the light and the teacher has the key around her neck the whole time. That's is practicing to be safe.

Dentist time

The kids LOVE going to the dentist. I hope that lasts! They love getting prizes and new toothburshes. London loves to get the new floss. She is funny and loves to floss and rinse! Abbie even did good. She was nervous at first but did good. The dentist hit her cheeck just a little and she started to cry but otherwise did awesome!

 

Draper City: Tree of Life

We went and saw the Draper city's Tree of Life. It was beautiful. When London saw it sahe said "It is so pretty I could cry!"

Thanksgiving

We had a super fun Thanksgiving with my parents. We ate tons of yummy food and had fun with all the cousins. The kids played so hard and had a blast. Me and the kids stayed at my moms the entire weekend while Derek worked. It was really nice weather so my mom took the kids to 3 different parks, we went to the Tree Jubilee in Ogden. There were tons of beautiful trees, crafts for the kids to make and Santa. London asked for a Monster High house and a birdcage (digibird) and Teagan asked for a Star Wars lightsaber and Star Wars guys. The kids have so much fun at my parents house. I think they played with every toy she owns.

When I went Black Friday Shopping with my sister and sister in law, Abbie wouldnt eat for my mom, but she did eat for Sasha. So funny!

Sleepover at Jayden's house

 

The kids were so excited to go over and have a sleepover at Jaydens house. We dropped them off on Friday night and picked them up Saturday afternoon. They were so sad to leave. They wanted to stay at Jaydens all day. I love having such an amazing family!!

Disneyland 2014

We went to Disneyland in September. It was so much fun. My mom and dad went with us. We stayed at the Grand California Hotel on the Disney property. It was so NICE! We loved it because we were able to take Abbie back during the afternoon and put her down for a nap while the other kids rode rides. It was tons of fun. We also decided to go to the Mickeys Halloween Party. It was an absolute blast. The kids got tons of candy (enough to fill a small suitcase). They loved seeing all the characters. Teagan was able to be a mini Padawan with the Star Wars thing they do. He was so excited... he loved it!! London loved seeing all the characters and loved riding the Ariel ride over and over and over. It was a fun and laid back trip. We Love DISNEYLAND!!

Teagan was so excited to ride the Splash Mountain ride. He was a little nervous during the big hill, but LOVED every second of it. He wanted to ride it again.

Administrative Day

I was lucky enough to be a part of our administrative team day for my work. It was so much fun. We went to a spa, dinner and then a day of classes. It was fun to meet all the other admins in the company.

 

I Phones and Football

Abbie had a blast at Londons party watching someones phone. She likes her You Tube.

London was so intrigued watching football. She loved it. SO FUNNY!

Happy Halloween 2014

We had one of the best Halloweens this year. We had a party at my moms house a week before Halloween. We ate yummy food and played some Halloween games. On Halloween we went to Londons school parade. It was so cute. She was the cutest Elsa ever. After the parade I volunteered in her class for the Halloween party. After school was over we headed up to my moms house. My mom and I took the kids to the old folks home and let the kids trick or treat. This is always fun and they get tons of candy. After that we went to my sisters street and had dinner and trunk or treat. I love how my sisters community does this. They shut the street down and let the kids trick or treat and provide a yummy dinner. Then we took the kids to a couple houses on my moms street. It was a ton of fun.

 

This was the super fun farm we go to by our house and get pumpkins. They have tractors that the kids can sit on and a hay ride that was fun.

Church

After church London was telling me what she learned about in class and she said "the bread duing sacrificement represents the body of Jesus and the water represent his blood." I love that she said sacrifice-ment instead of sacrament. She combined sacrifice and sacrament together. So cute!

Me and Teagan were talking and he said "Right now we have 5 people in our family, so when London has a baby we will have 6 people in our family."

Last night for homework Derek helped London read some words. She did awesome!! She was so proud of herself. She walked around all night giddy with excitment that she had just read.

Smart boy

During dinner the other night Teagan looked at me and sais "one day when Jesus comes back to earth we are not going to be buried anymore. We are going to live and not be buried anymore after that." He is such a smart boy.

Zoo

We have had some really fun times at the Zoo this year. The kids love it. We like to go in the evenings when it is a little cooler and less crowded.

Sacrament Program

The kids had their sacrament program on Sunday. My parents came and so did Dereks parents and grandparents. It is so fun to have so much support for our kids. When my mom and London got settled on the bench London looked at my mom and said "Grandma, do I look like Aerial?" grandma said yes and London smiled so big and got super excited.

Things from Grandma:

When we were at your house London was very concerned about that black thing
I had on my arm.  She just kept looking and worrying about it.  Then she
said, "Grandma, can I kiss it for you."  And she kissed the black tape.

Then she saw a scratch on my other hand.  It really wasn't that bad, just a
little red.  She said, "Grandma, you might want to have the Doctor look at
that."  It came out so serious and so grown up I had a hard time not
laughing because it was so dang cute.

When we were going through the Ogden Temple tour I looked back at Abbie a
few different times. She was soooo in awe at it all, but sometimes the look
on her face gave me the goose bumps.  Dad and I know she knew some things
that we might not really understand.  She was with Heavenly Father not that
long ago but can't talk and can't tell us about it.

Love

I took Teagan to a doctors appointment and on the way home he said "When you and dad go to heaven who are we going to stay with?" "Mom i'm going to miss you!"

Word of babes

London and Teagan were at my parents house overnight this past week. They were outside playing when Teagan decided to come inside. He left the door open and grandpa was at the table. London told Teagan to shut the door, so grandpa pushed it closed. London said "grandpa is listening today but not Teagan."

That same day Teagan was doing something he shouldnt be at grandma's house. London told Teagan she was going to tell grandma; Teagan then said "why do you always have to ask grandma when I do something im not suppossed to."

London

Derek was taking Teagan on a date to see Ninja Turtles movie. London asked Teagan if he was going to miss her, he said "No because i am with you all the time."

He is such a boy :)
